BIM management has taken on a significantly different role compared to the traditional CAD manager role. A BIM Manager’s role encompasses a variety of tasks, including attending project start-up meetings, training new staff members and directing the company on BIM-related issues and processes.
During this session, you will explore how the BIM manager’s role affects the direction, efficiency, and processes of a BIM-enabled company.
Scott Chatterton, a recognized leader in Digital Practice and Building Information Modeling (BIM), he understand the challenges involved in research, strategic development and the successful integration of a digital workflow.
Motivated by enabling the success of clients, partners and colleagues, Scott focus on production workflows and resource optimization. His international background in implementing digital practice, combined with my teaching experiences, is of great value to bring together members of a team and drive forward any type of organization. Having often been in a player/coach role allows him to provide hands-on engagement, guidance and leadership in order to improve collaboration and efficiency recommended for today’s complex BIM projects.
As a Member of the Board of Directors for Building Transformations, he seek to support, discover and realize new ways to utilize BIM in Canada and elsewhere.
