Red Deer, Alberta (January 8, 2025) – Global eTraining is proud to announce the addition of a new course, Geotechnical Modeler for Civil 3D, to their esteemed GeT Everything library.
This course is expertly crafted by Global eTraining’s Civil 3D specialist, Russ Nicloy. Russ brings a wealth of experience across various facets of the civil engineering construction cycle, including proposed drafting, survey field work, engineering drafting and GIS mapping of as-built information. His extensive background working with utilities, commercial and government civil departments ensures that learners receive top-notch training. Russ’s current role involves close collaboration with software users and field personnel in construction design and design workflow, making him the perfect guide for this course.
Geotechnical Modeler is an extension for Civil 3D that focuses on generating stratum surfaces and subsurface visualizations, incorporating geotechnical data into profile views. This concise 1-hour course can be found under the Autodesk Courses folder, within the Autodesk Advanced Workflows sub-folder. Additionally, this concept is available as a lecture within the full version of Autodesk Civil 3D Advanced Concepts.
“We are thrilled to expand our course offerings with the new Geotechnical Modeler for Civil 3D course, ensuring our valued customers have access to the latest skills training and standards for successful AEC technology adoption,” said Susan Brattberg, Global eTraining founder and CCO.
