Hey!

No surprise here, Autodesk University 2019 was a smashing success! It was great to connect with old friends, build new relationships, and help people ‘GeT What Matters’!

A huge thank you to everybody who stopped by our booth, asked questions and shared their ideas with us. If you missed out on connecting with us don’t worry, you can still book a meeting with our team, learn about our new courses and technology, and take advantage of our exciting and limited time promotions.

Check out the highlights from another great year at Autodesk University!

Books For Africa: Embracing Digital Transformation

Out with the old and in with the new! At AU2019 we asked those planning to attend our booth to bring their old STEM textbooks – and you delivered! It was so great to see people stopping by our booth with their books in hand ready to make a difference. Once those books were dropped off, we boxed them up and donated them to Books For Africa, a non-profit organization dedicated to collecting, sorting, shipping, and distributing books to children and adults in Africa. Because of you, people in developing countries will now be provided an education and a chance to change the world!

GeT-One, Give-One:

It was so exciting to introduce our ‘GeT-One, Give-One’ program at AU2019. For every ‘GeT Everything’ library purchased we are donating an equal number of learner seats to WorldSkills. It’s been a true privilege to partner with WorldSkills, as they are an incredible organization dedicated to providing global skills training to the workforce of the future. We’re also thankful to our partner, Absorb LMS for helping make this opportunity possible.

Women in BIM:

We were honored to welcome Women in BIM (WiB) founder, Rebecca De Ciccio, to our booth! Thank you, Rebecca for spending time connecting and informing AU2019 attendees on the Women in BIM movement and how it is creating a true difference in supporting a more diverse workplace. If you didn’t get a chance to talk with Rebecca you can still sign up as a WiB supporter to stay connected and join the cause.

Thank you NEC!

Visitors to our booth were wowed by our super cool InfinityBoard, graciously provided to us by our friends at NEC Display Solutions! The NEC InfinityBoard supports any scenario from multiple presenters to large groups with remote participation. Meeting the needs for video conferencing, creative brainstorming, reviewing and collaboration to boost group work efficiency.

A huge thanks to NEC for letting us show off our new technology on this massive touchscreen!

‘GeT Know-How’

One of our most asked about upgrades at AU2019 was ‘GeT Know-How’, an intuitive on-demand reference and eTraining plugin to popular Autodesk software programs. Our Autodesk plugin has been totally rebuilt from the ground up to vastly improve user experience and enhance existing features. Users have access to relevant Autodesk, BIM and company-specific training right at their fingertips, allowing them to stay productive and focus on work that matters most.
